Mobile residence card
Mobile residence card is a valid identification card as a physical one. Foreign nationals can have their mobile residence card issued on their mobile phone registered in their name.
How to issue a mobile residence card
IC residence card holder- IC card holders can issue their mobile residence card personally by accessing "IC residence card" on the mobile ID app.
Non-IC residence card holder- If they can't have their IC residence card issued non-IC card holders are required to visit the Immigration Office with jurisdiction over their place of stay and scan the QR code.
Reissuance of mobile residence card
IC residence card holder- IC card holders can reissue their mobile residence card personally by accessing "IC residence card" on the mobile ID app.
Non-IC residence card holder- Non-IC card holders are required to revisit the competent Immigration Office after making an appointment for their visit on HiKorea.go.kr in order to have their mobile residence card re-issued.
